each end of autumn for a couple of years, Pedro Aznar visits our country to sing to his loyal, dedicated and ever more expansive public Chile. On this occasion will visit several regional capitals: Concepción, Temuco, Valdivia, Puerto Montt, Calama, Antofagasta, Valparaíso and Puerto Montt with his double album Broken . A production as he himself said " is the one with more songs that were born as poems and then put music, and not vice versa."
And this writing is not new to Peter, from his childhood always kneaded, folded ideas and turned them into poetry, but it was only in 1992, encouraged by friends and some writers decided publish his poems in the book Fire tests. " I was a bit apprehensive with a kind of modesty, a sense of nakedness " says former member of Pat Methany Group adds, "Fire Tests was a very interesting experience by an internal process (...) Publish a book of mine is to lose the fear of growing up in public is what you end up doing all the time when dedicated to communicating through art. You're growing up in public, you're making your process painful or happy in the public eye, and it has its difficulties and particular incidents, but also has its advantages! ".
- What took 17 years in publishing your second book?

- How was conceived, then, two passages at night?

Had a title and some form, not the final structure but many of those poems that were written were finally in the book.
- What is this book?
Two passages in the night there are three major areas: one that has to do with my dialogue with the external landscape, one that is as rites of passages, as evidence now hinges, and the third, which is the other side of things, a little dark side, are poems that speak more loss of purpose in death. The poems are divided into three sections: the first entitled This dayside, the second passages and Del last night across .
Despite its serious, concentrated look Peter acknowledges not having a way to write, much less a place of inspiration, just her poetry springs from a dream, a thought, anyway and anywhere. The morning of the interview wrote one over breakfast. " I woke up and started to talk and think about a few things and I realized it was a good title and the title started to pull that thread and came to the poem." The idea was that the book had a " thread and that moved with the grace of a novel, which was leading the reader on certain landscapes," explains an enthusiastic Aznar.
- In your musical career has produced albums for various artists and even went TU producer at Broken , what was then working with an editor of your literary work?
was an excellent job, Marcelo was a great editor, has really helped me to focus on the language, to leave the substance and not miss much in Baroque style. In some cases we agreed not others, we fight a lot. There were instances in which I said 'I will not move from here because I speak so because I think so and because I write well and I need to recognize in the text. - What is the difference between this book and fires tests?
Fire tests is a book and using the word fire is talking about something that generates light and Two tickets to the night is talking about dark. Not necessarily dark about the dark side of things, not all the book goes through there, too There are bright moments. But the night as a metaphor, a place, as I find, as the end of something, like the other place of things, as the reverse of the coin.

Another is a vision of the transcendent, that which speaks without speaking, that which sustains us in the palm of your hand.
- In the Chilean poets you know, how do you identify and what emotions they convey?

"In Broken, unlike the book, I feel that I was a very good producer with what I self compelled to do things that I had not done before. To make this album I decided to take a different role and look at me as a performer and composer from another location. - You were also lyricist as in the song "Love and let go" because the music is by Andrew Beewsaert.
